JOB SUMMARY           

  • Customer Relations is the most important department within Globalstar as the main contact between our loyal customers and the company
  • We are a 24 x 7 support center for our worldwide customer base that is open 365 days out of the year
  • This is a position for those who want to excel in customer relations via written interactions handled through email and live chat platforms with our customers through Globalstar Chat systems, take ownership of the customer’s needs, resolve them and go the extra mile for the customer
  • We are high energy, diverse busy team that loves what we do

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule. Shifts may vary. We are a 24X7 support center.

A Typical Day Includes            

  • Engaging with our loyal customers on a variety of subjects effectively and efficiently via email and live chat
  • Delivering an individualized customer service experience with professional courtesy, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Performs a broad range of tasks of varying complexity and scope to meet the demands of business needs
  • Documenting all chat and email information based on standard operating procedures
  • Assisting our partners with their needs or their customers’ needs
  • Maintaining strong process, service and product knowledge
  • Understanding and helping to improve internal processes, offerings, promotions, pricing and/or products
  • Providing feedback to managers and senior management
  • Participating in Globalstar’s Wellness program
  • Understanding that we help rescue people and save lives everyday

Job Requirements

What we are looking for

  • 6 months of email or chat support experience
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 40 wpm with 80% accuracy
  • Excellent writing etiquette
  • Timeliness and organizational skills
  • Takes charge to resolve a customer issue
  • Ability to handle difficult issues/customers via live chat and email effectively
  • Accommodates flexible 24 x 7 scheduling
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Loves to learn and to be challenged
  • Passionate about delivering superior customer service
  • Learns new systems quickly, follows documented procedures, and adheres to department and company policies

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED Certification is preferred with 1-2 years of work experience
  • Some college preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Works in an office environment
  • Sits for long periods of time.
  • Other physical duties as required.
